Home Perfect offers two main services: Focus on Energy (FOE) Home Energy Assessment and Healthy Home Assessments. The FOE Home Energy Assessment provides a comprehensive analysis of your home to identify energy inefficiencies through an on-site assessment, computer modeling, a detailed report with prioritized recommendations, contractor coordination, post-work inspections, and securing cash incentives from Focus on Energy.

Healthy Home Assessments involve a detailed evaluation focusing on eight key elements: Dry, Clean, Safe, Well-Ventilated, Pest-Free, Contaminant-Free, Well-Maintained, and Energy Efficient, addressing issues such as water leaks, air quality, safety hazards, and energy efficiency to improve the overall health and safety of your home for you, your family, and pets.

Expert guidance for a healthier, more efficient home

Our team of experts provides comprehensive home energy assessments, including detailed analysis, data collection, modeling, prioritized improvement recommendations, contractor coordination, post-work inspections, and final reporting to secure cash incentives.

Focus on Energy Home Assessment

A FOE Home Energy Assessment is a thorough, whole-house evaluation aimed at identifying energy inefficiencies. These inefficiencies are analyzed using specialized software, and a detailed report with improvement recommendations is provided.

The process begins with a 1.5-3 hour in-home assessment to collect data for a computer model of your home. Next, we analyze the data and use modeling software to identify the most impactful improvement measures, prioritized based on a savings-to-investment ratio. These recommendations are compiled into a report for you and shared with the FOE Trade Ally contractor of your choice, including contractor notes and air-sealing details.

After retrofit work is completed, a post-work inspection (scheduled online at your convenience) ensures the work meets Focus on Energy standards, verifies appliance safety, and confirms predicted energy savings. Finally, we spend additional time confirming the modeling, obtaining a Department of Energy energy score, and submitting reports and paperwork to secure your cash incentives. Both you and the contractor receive a post-work inspection report.

Healthy Home Assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of your home, focusing on both energy efficiency and the eight elements of a healthy home that significantly impact the well-being of you, your family, guests, and pets. We’ll assess the systems and components of your home that may currently affect or have the potential to impact the health of your household.

Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

Monitoring the indoor air quality (IAQ) of your home can reveal invisible issues that may be affecting your short- and long-term health. Poor IAQ can lead to a variety of health problems, including respiratory issues, allergies, and chronic illnesses. By regularly assessing and addressing the air quality in your home, you can create a healthier living environment for you and your family. This includes identifying potential sources of pollution such as mold, dust, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and inadequate ventilation, and taking steps to mitigate these risks.
